01 / Running the Bank
Bahama Bank
Finding wahoo does not need to be complicated. Most of the time, success starts with knowing the right depth range and staying disciplined within it. Across Bahamian waters, especially along the Bahama Bank, the most productive zone is typically 150 to 550 feet. Slide too shallow, and barracuda can quickly become the dominant bite. Push too deep, and you may run outside the strike zone before the fish ever see the spread. That is why the 150- to 550-foot range remains the sweet spot for targeting wahoo in the Bahamas, not just this season, but season after season. I've included four reports for the Bahamas.
